Munich. digital publishing and the Goethe Institute have announced their international cooperation. The global cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany focuses on promoting the German language and providing a comprehensive image of Germany abroad. In addition to providing language courses all over the world, the network of 149 institutes in 93 countries offers distance learning on the internet: The interactive language learning software for ‘German as a Foreign Language’ at Goethe Institute comes from digital publishing and is available worldwide for the levels A1 to B2.2.

For the eighth consecutive year, the European Multimedia Forum (EMF) and its national and regional partner associations awarded ICT and digital media companies with the Seals of e-Excellence 2010. digital publishing, one of the European leaders in global language training software solutions, was honored with the Platinum Award. This prestigious European Award confirms dp's excellent track record in innovative marketing of digital products and services. Following an open-application process by a panel of expert judges, the winners were officially announced at CeBIT in Hanover, the European trade show for the ICT industry.

The tendered course concept "CLT plug&learn" received the highest recognition from the judges: "Both the content of the standard courses provided by language-teaching specialists and the techniques integrated in the courses, such as the innovative speech-recognition feature ‘IntelliSpeech', are of extremely high quality." dp came first in the category „Learning Technologies Solution of the Year". The Institute of IT Training hosts the annual awards to recognize outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence within IT training. The awards are firmly established as the benchmark for excellence throughout the IT training industry.

In the closing days of 2009, digital publishing, a leader in web-based language learning solutions, was honored with the Learn Trends Innovation Award 2009 for the online language learning platform CLT Plug&Learn. dp captured the award at the Learn Trends conference, an online conference that spans the globe and is run by some of the US's leading industry names, including Jay Cross, Tony Karrer and George Siemens among others. The LearnTrends Innovation Awards are designed to recognize "products, projects and companies that represent significant innovation in Corporate/Workplace Learning and Performance." dp's online language school, CLT, is a global platform for web-based language training both in the corporate world and for academic institutions; it combines all the advantages of web-based learning and face-to-face training in one innovative solution.

At Learning Technologies (London, January 27th - 28th), Europe's leading showcase of technology-supported workplace learning, digital publishing will be showcasing its new course concept "CLT live". The new virtual language lab service of the European leader in language training software solutions offers an innovative approach to online audio and video quality. It will be an inherent part of the new corporate offering, which includes language learning software and tutoring. Participants take part in the course concept "CLT live" with a high degree of interaction: They communicate with the teacher and other language students via webcam, microphone, chat and surveys.

Munich. Just before Christmas, the language learning specialists from digital publishing have launched the charity campaign "Stars for Africa" to support education in Mali. On December 10th, dp invited partners and customers to attend a festive "virtual Christmas party" in dp's virtual classroom. For each participant, dp donated ten euros to the organization "Sterntaler".

The Institute of IT Training hosts the annual awards to recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence within IT training. The awards are now firmly estab-lished as the benchmark for excellence throughout the IT training industry. The nominated course concept CLT Plug&Learn, is part of the dp online language school CLT and provides the smallest portable, interactive-language course today. CLT Plug&Learn saves all course content on a USB flash drive which can be used with any computer.

London/Munich - In an exciting awards ceremony at the Royal Courts of Justice in London, digital publishing, a European leader in language training software solutions, was honored with this year's British Software Satisfaction Award for "HR & Training - Learning Software." Based on a voting population of more than 8,100 professional end users and purchasers of business software, the survey was one of the largest individual pieces of business opinion research in the UK and across Europe. Although dp's products have already won multiple awards, the Software Satisfaction Award was the company's first audience award. Participants in the survey were asked to rate the products' ease of use, functionality, reliability and value for money.

Munich/London - digital publishing, a leader in language training software solutions, has been honored with a gold award in the prestigious UK E-Learning Awards for "Most innovative new product or tool in e-learning". The submission was based on a case study highlighting the use of the digital publishing blended learning lan-guage training at leading automotive supplier MAHLE in Shanghai, China. In making the award, the jury composed of members of the UK eLearning Network ELN, under chair of Joe Quilter, emphasized that the award specifically recognized the innovative technology and pedagogical value of the dp language training solutions.

The Munich/Germany based company has been awarded a trio of the prestigious prizes for their range of language training software, winning a Worlddidac Award each for the corporate solution "CLT Intensive" online language school as well as for the private consumer products "English Interactive Language Tour" and "Business English Intensive Course".
